The Boy Who Hunts Akuma
This episode starts with someone explain what an exorcist is.
Next scene says that it's an alternate end to the 19th century, and we see a boy who leaves a train. He is described as "The Boy Who Hunts Demons", and his flying pet thing; Timcanpy. He says to it that it cannot fly around too much; because then a cat will eat it. They both get a ride with someone, who then offers him some food, and he explains that he is visiting the exorcist headquarters.
We then skip to two police officers who are standing outside an old, supposedly haunted house, and we get to know that several people have disappeared in that house, and that they are there to investigate because several people; notably travelers, have disappeared from there. In fact, no one that enters ever gets out. We also find out that the name of the police officers are Charles and Moore.
Moore isn't afraid, whilst Charles is extremely afraid, but they enter nevertheless. Charles is then scared when a cat touches his leg. A lot of bats then come past, and an arm grabs Moore and the cat and disappears. The bats fly up to the attic, and we see that it is the boy we saw earlier. But, the police officer handcuffs his hand, and he explains that he was just after the cat, because it ate something dear to him.
They then hear a loud scream from Charles, and Moore run to see what happened, and she discovers Charles, who has several black pentagons on him, and eventually he turns to dust. The boy then come down and explains that he was killed by an "Akuma" a demon, but then Moore faints.
Moore wakes up to find herself in the local police station, and she is told to head right to the inspector, who is currently interrogating the boy, who is now revealed to be named Allen Walker. We also see what looks like a crystal embedded in Allen's left hand, in the shape of a cross. However, Moore explains that Allen is innocent, and he even tells them that the culprit is a demon, and he explains that he is an exorcist â€" a clergyman specialization in killing demons. The inspector then leaves and tells Moore to watch Allen closely.
In a house somewhere, we see a slightly humanoid creature talking to a man in a wheelchair, and he calls him demon. But, he hears someone calling for him, and disappears. We then see that it was Moore who called for him, and that she had returned home. He is pretty sick, and Moore says that her sister in heaven watches over him. They then hear a lot of noise and find Allen who is trying to sneak out.
Later, Allen explains to Moore that the demons he spoke off are weapons made to battle exorcists and kill humans, and not the usual kind of demon. He also says that they take the form of humans. But, he is interrupted by Moore's brother who comes in and then turns into a demon.
It shoots at Moore, but Allen stops them instead. He then tells her that it's a demon bullet, which contains a virus that makes anyone who touches it get a lot of black pentacles on their body, before dying. He also explains that they use a human's dead body to infiltrate the humans and eventually kill them as well. But just then, another demon comes, and it kills the other police officers, whose pistols did not work on them. Moore then gets angry, but Allen explains that it is only a murder machine, and that it does not do it of its own accord, and that the frustration of a soul who has lost faith in life serves as a demon's energy source, and he says that someone close to Mark (Moore's brother) is inside the demon. He explains further that people who is deeply depressed due to the loss of someone near them is approached by the Creator of the demons, and he makes a demon out of them. In Mark's example, it was his wife who , and Moore's sister who had died. We then proceed to see how the Creator of the demons makes them.
Allen then proceeds to destroy the demon with a weapon of his; the special left arm of his turns into a large, silver arm.
He says that the Creator of the demons is known as The Millennium Earl, and that he is plotting to destroy all of mankind. Finally, Allen leaves as the episode ends.
