The Ghost of Mater
This episode starts at the Dark Order HQ, where Allen meets the rather feminine
cafeteria man, who takes a liking to Allen because he eats so very much.
Also, we see that some Finders are annoyed at Kanda, but Kanda nearly kills one of them, but Allen stops him, and their relationship starts off pretty bad.
Later, Allen and Kanda are told to go on a mission together, to Southern Italy, to recover a fragment of Innocence. Also, Allen gets his exorcist outfit. They find out that their target is a ghost, and their Finder explains that Innocence fragments often cause paranormal phenomena. He also tells Allen about the story of the ghost of Martel, and what the Finders are supposed to do.
Later, we see the Finders who is already in Martel and trying to hold off the demons and protect the Ghost until Kanda and Allen comes to rescue them.
Also, as Kanda and Allen nears the city, Kanda tells him that he doesn’t care for the lives of others, something that Allen finds terrible.When they arrive, the Finders are mostly dead, all of them, and the Ghost of Martel is protected by the barrier that was intended for the Finders. And whilst Allen goes to look for surviving Finders, Kanda fights the demons attacking the Ghost.
However, Allen ends up fighting an evolved demon; a Level 2 demon, and he gets a strong strike. Kanda passes by Allen, but refuses to help him, leaving him to fight him. And so the fight ensues. But Allen gets beaten pretty badly, and when he thought he had him, he saw the demon’s power; to copy others and their abilities.
